What is a Realtor®?

In England we are known as “Estate Agents”.
In Thailand and USA (and some other countries) the English term “Estate Agent” is often replaced by “Real Estate Broker”.
But what is a Realtor®?
You will have seen the term “Realtor®” used by some real estate professionals when describing themselves or their business.
Are they really a Realtor® in the true sense or do they simply not understand what a Realtor® is?
The term “Realtor®” was created and copyrighted by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) in the United States of America to elevate agents and brokers.
The only real estate brokers (estate agents) who can call themselves a Realtor® are the ones who are official members of NAR.
When a non-member of NAR refers to himself as a Realtor® is it misrepresentation or just ignorance of the facts?

Construction start on VN Residence 3 Condominium Pratumnak Pattaya

Yesterday, 20 November 2013, Norwegian Properties Group announced that they had the "Green Light" to start construction on their 3rd project named VN Residence 3 Condominium.

HEIGHTS HOLDINGS – Construction Update 14 November 2013

As high season approaches, Five Star Villas & Condos are delighted to report that two major Heights Holdings developments - Laguna Beach Resort 2 and C-View Residence - were awarded EIA approval in October, with piling works at both developments commencing in November 2013.
Driven piling is now well underway at the Laguna Beach Resort 2 site just on Thepprasit Soi 9 / Thepprasit Soi 17.
Piling machinery is set to mobilise at the C View Residence site on Pratumnak Soi 4 by end-November.

Here is a construction update project-by-project.

C-View Boutique Condominium : The exterior skeleton of C-View Boutique is now complete up to the rooftop, with structural work complete on the rooftop area, including the swimming pool and skeleton.
Interior wall brick work is in place up to the 6th floor, whilst internal plastering works are up to the 5th floor. Installation of gypsum ceilings is underway on floors 2 and 3.
Plastering work is well underway on the building exterior, with electrical and plumbing systems in place up to the 4th floor.

Laguna Bay 2 : Laguna Bay 2 piling works are complete, with all foundation work now complete.
Structural work on the building skeleton is up to the 3rd floor, with structural work having commenced on the 2nd floor pool area above the car park.
Work has commenced on the fitting of interior walls at ground floor level. 

Wong Amat Tower : Structural work on the Wong Amat Tower is complete, with tiling now complete throughout the rooftop pool, and the framework of the rooftop Jacuzzi now complete.
The ground floor pool structure is now complete, along with structural work on the separate covered parking complex.
Architectural work has commenced on the lobby area and open area seating lounge. Both main passenger elevators are now installed, whilst aluminum window & balcony frames are in place in units up to the 25th floor.

The Peak Towers : Structural work on The Peak Towers - Tower A is now up to the 24th floor, with the Tower B skeleton now up to the 18th floor.
Internal wall brick work for Tower A underway up to the 12th floor, with plastering complete up to the 9th floor. Tower B interior walls are now set up to the 8th floor.
Work is nearing completion on the new selection of on-site show suites situated on the 9th floor of Tower A.

Laguna Beach Resort Jomtien : Interior and exterior plastering throughout Building A of Laguna Beach Resort Jomtien now stands at 90% complete, with installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures in place across the majority of apartments.
The structural skeleton of Building B is now complete, with interior walls in place up to the 6th floor. Structural work has now commenced on the 3rd floor of LBRJ Building C.

Club Royal Phase 2 : Piling at Club Royal Phase 2 stand at 65% complete, with preparatory work for the foundations underway. 

The Waterpark Condominium : Piling is complete at the Waterpark Condominium on Pratumnak Soi 5, with foundation work at 10% complete.

Laguna Beach Resort 2 : Driven piling machinery mobilised at the Laguna Beach Resort 2 site, off Jomtien 2nd Road, on the 5th November 2013, following the resurfacing of the site entrance for ease of access.
Installation of the two tower cranes is underway and piling work has commenced.
